Q: What are the hours of operation?
A: The parking structure has been automated since August 2017 and thus we are open 7 days/wk-24/7.
Q: Is there any FREE parking?
A: There is NO free parking. Everyone entering the parking facility must pay.
Q: Do you have Handicap/Disabled parking spots?
A: Yes, we do have preferred spots designated for handicap/disabled available on a first come first serve basis. Normal rates apply – no free parking.
Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash (no coin) only.
Q: Are Motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds safe to park in the parking facility?
A: We discourage motorcycle parking. Motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds are not recommended to go through the automated control system. The system may not be able to detect small motor bikes.
Q: Do you offer daily or weekly rates?
A: We only offer daily parking rates to individuals.
Q: Are monthly rates available?
A: The State of Wisconsin does offer some permit parking to qualified State employees. There is a long waiting list and the permit parking is handled by the State Capitol Police (608) 266-7840.
Q: What are the height restrictions?
A: 8 feet 2 inches is the max height for the parking facility. 12 feet for the passenger drop off lane.
Q: Is there bus or other oversize vehicle parking available? What does it cost?
A: Yes, there are a few oversize parking spots available call (608) 261-4072 for more information.
Q: Is overnight parking allowed?
A: Yes, COST = daily rates x nights stayed. Call (608) 261-4072 if staying beyond three days.
Q: Can I file for a refund if I paid a “Lost ticket charge” and later found my ticket?
A: No, the parking facility has been automated since August of 2017. Thus we highly recommend keeping track of your entry ticket.
