A: No, but the State of Wisconsin does offer some permit parking to qualified State employees. There is a long waiting list and the permit parking is handled by the State Capitol Police (608-266-7840). For other monthly parking options, check the ‘Parking Options’ page.
Q: Are Motorcycles, Scooters and Mopeds safe to park in the ramp?
A: We discourage Motorcycle parking unless it is in the metered area. Motorcycles, Scooters and Mopeds are not recommended to go through the revenue control system. The reason for this is the threat of personal injury from a gate coming down on a Motorcycle and rider because the equipment doesn’t detect the Motorcycle the same way as it does a car.

A: 8 feet 2 inches for the parking ramp. 12 feet for the bus/passenger drop-off lane from Wilson Street.

A: Due to weight & height issues with the ramp, there is very little room for oversize vehicles to park at the Monona Terrace. The cost for parking an oversize vehicle is $20/day. The City of Madison has printed a map and instructions for buses on its website http://www.cityofmadison.com/parking/parking.html go to quick links and under the Maps heading, choose Tour Bus Parking Map.
